I bought this gown for my daughter for prom and this gown is beautiful. The quality was good - I didn't notice any loose threads or missing beads, and I was very happy with how quickly the gown was delivered. My only complaint about this dress is that the skirt is too heavy for the corset. The top of the corset had no structure, so the top part of the bust kept trying to fold over and the corset kept slipping down some due to the weight of the skirt. My daughter was constantly adjusting the dress and pulling it back up. I tried putting some double sided garment tape on her bustline to keep it from folding forward, but it wasn't strong enough for the weight of the dress. Some additional boning in the bust of the corset or optional straps, whether they're clear or the same color as the gown would've been nice to have. The off the shoulder straps can be removed, but they fasten with white snap-on fasteners so if the straps are removed, the fasteners stick out like a sore thumb, and if she raised her arms just below shoulder height, the straps popped right off. She did eventually put the off the shoulder straps as regular straps, but didn't have much faith in them since they came off so easily. If I ever need a formal gown in the future, I will still consider Lady Black Dress.
