Use this Portia & Scarlett size chart to find your size before you order. Portia & Scarlett uses two size charts: one for prom, evening, and other occasion styles, and a separate chart for couture styles. Measurements below are from the designer’s current 2025 size chart.
Which Portia & Scarlett Size Chart Do I Use?
- Style number ends in “C” (for example, PS24850C or PS25453C): use the Couture Size Chart.
- All other styles (for example, PS22036 or PS25960): use the Prom, Evening & Other Occasions Size Chart.
Each Portia & Scarlett product page at Lady Black Tie also shows the correct chart for that style.
How to Measure
- Bust: Measure across the fullest part of your bust.
- Waist: Measure around the smallest part of your waist.
- Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
Keep the measuring tape a little loose, and measure while wearing the undergarments you plan to wear with your dress. If your measurements fall between two sizes, contact our team with the style number before ordering.

Couture styles are fully embellished with beading, crystals, or sequins, and many have no stretch. Their measurements differ slightly from the prom chart, so check this table for any style number ending in “C.”

Portia & Scarlett Fit Tips
- Check stretch: Fully beaded and sequined gowns usually have little or no stretch, so your measurements matter more than your usual size.
- Look at the silhouette: Fitted and mermaid styles follow the bust, waist, and hips closely. A-line and ball gown skirts are more forgiving through the hips.
- Plan for alterations: Allow time for a fitting and any hemming or adjustments before your event.
