Our Story

Lady Black Tie is a Massachusetts dress company, with our showroom, office, and operations based in Hudson, MA, alongside additional warehouse locations supporting our growing business.

Lady Black Tie first opened in November 2018 as a small retail store with just three dressing rooms in Andover, Massachusetts. Just two months later, we launched our website—and everything changed. Online sales grew rapidly, transforming our little boutique into a growing e-commerce business almost overnight.

As demand grew, so did our need for space. Our original showroom quickly filled with dresses, boxes, shelving, and shipping supplies, leading us to open our first separate warehouse location.

We continued expanding our size ranges, developing our own styles, and listening closely to customer feedback as our business evolved.

In August 2021, we relocated our showroom and main operations to Hudson, Massachusetts, where we have continued to grow. Today, our Hudson location is home to our showroom and serves as one of several facilities supporting our online and retail business.

From our beginnings as a small three-fitting-room boutique to a growing dress company serving customers across the country, we've continued to evolve while staying focused on what matters most: helping customers find a dress they feel confident and excited to wear.
