It’s a beautiful dress and I appreciate the extra length for the tall queens.. But I bought this corset dress because I wanted breast support... Unfortunately the corset ribs are flimsy plastic not metal, the fabric between the ribs bows out of place when the corset is tightened, and the back eyelets are not built for the job of a corset. I now understand that the corset is just a style choice and that’s fine for most people because it’s really pretty, but I would prefer a real functional corset over a cheap fake one because when made well they are very comfortable and a woman’s best friend.
I really loved the silhouette this dress gave me and the sage color was absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, you can tell how cheaply this dress was made-- the first ribbon included was flimsy and ripped in half when trying to tighten it and the worse thing was the boning in the corset top was not blunted and SO sharp. This was almost unbearable while wearing the dress, but I suppose they say beauty is pain THOUGH IT SHOULDN'T BE. Please tell your manufacturer to fix this problem for the next customer.
Absolutely beautiful dress, and is exactly as pictured. The quality is good and it’s comfortable. I was worried because another reviewer said the bottom of the boned corset pokes her, but I didn’t have that issue. I think it may be because I have a long torso.
This dress is probably the most stunning dress I have ever worn! The fabric is so high quality and the cut of the dress is very flattering and honestly sooo gorgeous. My only complaint is the bottom part of the corset would continuously stab/poke me and was very uncomfortable even though I did not pull the corset too tight. Overall, the dress was so beautiful it was worth the pain but I’d probably wear something underneath next time I wear it to prevent the bruise I got.
